Llegó un tipo enmascarado y le exigió al dependiente de la tienda que le
entregara todo lo que tenía en la caja registradora. Gerardo -el empleado- se rehusó por lo que el asaltante le disparó a quemarropa, hiriéndolo en el hombro; entonces, él no
tuvo más remedio que acceder a lo que el ladrón le exigía. En cuanto le entregó
el dinero, éste se puso feliz, lo metió en una bolsa y al distraerse, Gerardo sacó una
pistola de un cajón y le disparó, matándolo en seguida con un segundo disparo.
Cuando el delincuente ya estaba inmóvil en el piso, desangrándose,
Gerardo llamó a la policía y mientras esperaba
su llegada, se le ocurrió quitarle el pasamontañas al delincuente.
¡¿Cuál no sería su sorpresa al
descubrir que se trataba de su primo Luis, al que no había visto desde hacía
diez años?! ¿Por qué se le habría metido en la cabeza, semejante burrada?
Su tía jamás se lo perdonaría, había matado a su hijo querido. Fue tal la furia
de la tía que dos días más tarde, ella incendió la tienda.

Suddenly, a masked fellow got into the store and demanded from the employee all the money he had in the cash register. Gerry -the employee- refused to comply so the thief shot him on the shoulder. So, Gerry had no other option tan to deliver the money. The law-breaker put all the money in a bag and while he was at it, he was so completely happy and absorbed that he did not see when Gerry got a gun out of a drawer and shot him to death.
Then, Gerry called the police and while he was waiting for them, he slid the mask off the robber's face, only to realize he had killed no other but his cousin Louis. Gerry's aunt would get extremely mad at him. Exactly two days later, the store was burnt to the ground by the furious aunt.
